World Generator

Java, IntelliJ

Using Java, I developed a world generating game that creates a random world based on a seed inputed by the user with the use of the A* algorithm. Using a path finding algorithm, the rooms are connected by hallways.  I also added the ability for the user to move their own character throughout the world and explore the different rooms and hallways. Furthermore, using intricate data structures such as HashMaps and Binary Trees, I was able to save and load different worlds for a given seed and implement other fun features such as light sources and sound effects.

Stock Analysis

Python, Pandas

As part of the Data Science Society, my group and I analyzed the stocks of the top 100 tech companies in the U.S. Using several data analytic techniques like linear regression, bootstrap sampling, and machine learning algorithms, we developed a presentation to display our findings based on our analysis. I also created my own k-nearest neighbors model to analyze the Google stock compared to its comparators and developed a stock heat map.

Scheme Interpreter

Python

Using Python, I developed an interpreter for a subset of Scheme language called Lisp. The interpreter reads Scheme expressions, evaluates them, and displays the results. The program utilized tail recursion
and supports functional programming Scheme expressions.

Volleyball Sim:

Java, Eclipse

Using Java back-end and Java Swing front-end, I developed a volleyball application that records the in-game stats during a volleyball match. Using efficient algorithms such as mergesort and data structures like array lists, stacks, and queues, I was able to develop an intuitive GUI for any coach to use and easily keep track of substitutions, how many timeouts they have left, what rotation they are in, the score, and other important stats in a match for post game analysis

Boys and Girls Club Website

HTML,CSS,JS

As part of the Tech Staff at the Boys and Girls Club of Anaheim, I was tasked with aiding in the development of the organization's website for the JMAC Teen Center and Manzanita Park Clubhouse. I also helped develop the portal to send donations to the organization through the website.
